Leiden, Netherlands, 10 September 2026 – The programme for the 2026 SkiLMeeT Conference, “Workers, Firms, and Skills in the Digital and Green Transition,” is now available. The conference will take place on 22–23 October 2026 in Brussels, at the Representation of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia to the European Union, Rue Montoyer 47.
The two-day event will feature four keynote speakers: Oskar Nordström Skans (Uppsala University), Ines Helm (Johannes Kepler Universität Linz) and Francesco Losappio and Frank Siebern-Thomas from the European Commission.
The programme includes more than 30 presentations and flash talks on topics such as the green transition, education and training, technology adoption, skill gaps, artificial intelligence, occupational change, and local labour markets.
Registration is open for non-presenting attendees. Presenting authors whose papers have been accepted are registered automatically.
