Roy Peijen, Ph.D., is a medior researcher and labor sociologist at the Netherlands Organization for Applied Scientific Research (TNO) in the Sustainable Productivity and Employability department. His field of research lies in labor market integration for vulnerable workers, workplace-based learning, skills-based hiring, proactive career behavior in times of job insecurity, and hybrid working in the post-COVID-19 era. He specializes in quantitative research, employing matching techniques for quasi-experimental designs, and longitudinal research methods. Roy is involved in several European projects, among which SkiLMeeT, GI-NI, Bridges and SEISMEC.
