Rumiana is Associate Professor of Sociology and Senior Researcher at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. For many years she has been involved as a team leader or researcher in numerous European projects in the field of sociology of work, organisational sociology, sustainable development and European studies.
